Do you have the recipe for a mandarin orange cake?

Its a recipe where you add a can of mandarin oranges to a cake mix. I love it but I can't remember exactly how to make it.Do you have the recipe for a mandarin orange cake?
Oh this cake sounds HEAVENLY!!! I can't wait to try it!!!





Here's the recipe that I found online!!!





INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)


1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix


4 eggs


1 cup vegetable oil


1 (11 ounce) can mandarin orange segments


1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed


1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice


1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix





DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.


In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil and mandarin oranges with juice. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.


Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.


To make the topping: In a large bowl, beat together whipped topping, pineapple with juice and dry pudding mix until blended. Spread on cake.Do you have the recipe for a mandarin orange cake?

This is my famous one here at the bakery I own I came up with it while sifting ideas around for my mothers day dinner last year.





It was a sensational success.





Mandarin Orange Cake

MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE





1 yellow cake mix


3/4 c. oil


4 eggs


1 sm. can mandarin oranges


1 lg. can crushed pineapple


1 lg. vanilla instant pudding


12 oz. Cool Whip





Mix together cake mix, oil, eggs and mandarin oranges. Pour into 3 greased and floured pans. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.


TOPPING: Mix drained crushed pineapple with instant pudding. Add Cool Whip. Spread equally on each layer. Makes a 3-layer cake.

MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE





CAKE:





2 c. flour


2 eggs


2 c. sugar


2 tsp. vanilla


1 tsp. salt


2 c. drained mandarin oranges (about 30 oz.)





Combine until well blended. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.





FROSTING:





1 1/2 c. brown sugar


6 tbsp. butter


6 tbsp. milk





Combine in saucepan. Boil 3 minutes. Poke holes in hot cake and pour frosting over cake slowly. Tastes best when served warm with whipped cream.
