TOO MUCH CHOCOLATE CAKE
INGREDIENTS
1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
1 (5.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup warm water
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix together the cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, oil, beaten eggs and water. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour batter into a well greased 12 cup bundt pan.
Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until top is springy to the touch and a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool cake thoroughly in pan at least an hour and a half before inverting onto a plate If desired, dust the cake with powdered sugar.Does anyone know a good recipe for chocolate cake?
This is super easy to make, using just a few ingrdients. It is kind-of like brownies, but also kind-of like cake. It's very rich! Yummy served with cool whip on top!
Brownie Cake

2 cups milk
1 12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
cool whip and/or vanilla ice cream, optional
In large bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and milk, as when making pudding. Whisk cake mix into pudding until completely combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 9x13 in. baking pan, bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. When cool, top with cool whip if desired, or serve with vanilla ice cream. Makes 12-16 servings.Does anyone know a good recipe for chocolate cake?
Buttermilk Chocolate Cake %26amp; Icing
Sift together:
2 c. flour
4 TBLS. Cocoa
1 ½ tsp. Soda
Add:
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 heaping TBLS. Butter
1 ½ c. buttermilk
1 tsp. Vanilla
Bake:
In 2 – 8” cake pans at 350 degrees for 30 – 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Icing
1 box powdered sugar (sifted)
3 TBLS. Cocoa
butter (size of a walnut)
1 TBLS. Karo Syrup
coffee – enough to spreading consistency.
(Sister-in-law said cake tends to sink, some, in middle when iced.)

COOK UNTIL THICK:

4 TBLS. Flour
set aside to cool
BEAT:
Together….3 minutes
½ cup margarine
½ cup shortening (Crisco…NOT cooking oil)
ADD:
1 cup sugar
(1/4 cup at a time, beat thorouhly)
1 tsp. Vanilla
ADD :
Gradually add flour %26amp; milk mixture

CHOCOLATE ECLAIR CAKE
(NO BAKE)
INGREDIENTS:
1 large package Vanilla instant pudding
1 small package Vanilla instant pudding
3 1/2 cups milk
1 8oz. container Cool Whip
1 box Honey Graham Crackers
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Mix together and beat for 3 minutes on low speed, vanilla pudding and milk.
2.) Fold in Cool Whip.
3.) Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with 1 layer of graham crackers, pour 1/2 pudding mixture over crackers.
4.) Make a second layer of crackers and pour remaining pudding over crackers.
My mum made this BEAUTIFUL cake the other week called black forest cake.
It is the best choclate cake I have ever tasted!!!!
It has three layers of cake and cream in between each layer with cherrys on top and flaked chocolate on the top, and cream around the outside or chocolate.

Black Forest Cake
Ingredients:
370g packet rich chocloate cake mix
1cup (250ml) vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups (625ml)water
300g dark chocloate , melted
1 cup (200g)firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups (300g)plain flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
1/2 cup (50g) cocoa
1/2 cup (80g) icing sugar mixture
900ml thickened cream
1/3 cup (80ml) Kirsch
800g can cherries,drained,halved
Method:
Grease deep 28cm round cake pan,line base and side with greasing baking paper 5cm above edge of pan.
Combine cake mix,oil,water,chocolate,sugar,flour,coco… and soda in large bowl,beat on low speed with electric mixer until well combined.Beat on medium speed further 3 minutes.Pour mixture into prepared pan,bake in modertaley slow oven about 1 1/2 hours.
Stand cake 10 minutes before turning onto wire rack to cool.Cut cake into 3 layers.
Beat cream and icing sugar mixture in medium bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form.Place a layer of cake on serving plate,brush with a third of liqueur;spread with 3/4 cup (180ml) of cream and halve cherries.Top with another layer of cake,brush with half the remaining liqueur,spread with 3/3 cup (180ml)cream and the remaining cherries.Top with reamianing liqueur.Spread top side with half the remianing cream,pipe remianing cream aroung the edge.Decorate with cherries and chocolate curls,if desired.
Refridgerate 2 hours before serving.
Serves 20

This is a good healthy choc cake mix.
One box of devils food cake mix added to one can of 15 oz pumpkin mix. Mix throughly and do not add any other liquids. You can add a handful each of choc chips, walnuts and coconut if you like and it wont effect the texture.
Scoop into muffin tins and cook for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean with a 350 degree oven.
This is a healthy moist choc cake mix that is excellent for you because it doesnt raise your blood sugar so badly. They are addictive!
