I would like the recipe for a Lemon Sponge Cake?

At the local Amish market they make this great lemon sponge cake and I love it. I don't really like lemon but this cake is great. Its moist, light, delicous. Does anyone have the recipe?I would like the recipe for a Lemon Sponge Cake?
Lemon Sponge Cake I


Prep Time: 30 Minutes


Cook Time: 1 Hour Ready In: 1 Hour 30 Minutes


Yields: 12 servings

INGREDIENTS:


1 cup cake flour


1/2 teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon baking powder


3 eggs 1 cup white sugar


1 tablespoon lemon juice


1/2 teaspoon lemon extract


6 tablespoons hot milk





DIRECTIONS:


1. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder.


2. In a large bowl, beat eggs until fluffy and lemon coloured. Gradually beat in sugar. Stir in lemon juice and flavoring. Add sifted flour mixture gradually while beating; beat only enough to blend. Add hot milk quickly 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until blended. Pour into ungreased pan at once.


3. Bake 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 to 55 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to touch. Invert, and cool in pan. Then loosen sides, and turn out on cake rack to cool completely.I would like the recipe for a Lemon Sponge Cake?
LEMON SPONGE CAKE





6 eggs


1 cup sugar


2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice


zest of 1 lemon


1 cup flour


1/4 teaspoon salt


1/2 cup chopped pecans





Preheat oven to 325掳F.


Beat yolks of eggs until thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in the sugar, grated lemon rind, and juice. Fold in half of the stiffly beaten egg whites.





Cut in sifted flour and salt, add nuts, and remaining egg whites.





Bake in a slow oven for about one hour or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out nearly clean.
