I'm looking for a greek cake recipe where the cake is marble and chocolate coated?

My husband's Ya Ya made him this cake it was shaped like a cylinder cut in half (the long way) and was covered in chocolate that was hard (not soft like ganache or icing) and I've typed in loads of searches on google but can't find the name of it - and he's sure it's a 'greek' recipe... anyone heard of it and knows it's name or has a recipe? I'd be so happy!! Thanks, LauraI'm looking for a greek cake recipe where the cake is marble and chocolate coated?
i have something in mind but i need to ask you first..was it a type of cake that was kept in the freezer? the halvah that we make for Easter isn't marble nor is it covered in chocolate...the recipe that i can think of is made with butter cocoa and a type of cookies this is made in a log sort of and when you slice it, it looks marble cause of the cookies does this sound familiar maybe? Or is it a type of a jelly roll cake filled with chocolate? I'll be watching for a reply so i can help you out.I'm looking for a greek cake recipe where the cake is marble and chocolate coated?
I would say that sounds a lot like Halva and we eat it when we fast for Easter. Here is a recipe....

Hope it helps.
That actually sounds like it might be Halvah, which is really a candy. See if searching that wil help
