Orange cake recipe?

Triple Orange Cake:

1 (3 ounce) package orange Jell-O


1 (18 1/4 ounce) package orange cake mix


2/3 cup canola oil


3/4 cup water


4 large eggs


1/3 cup orange juice


1 1/2 cups icing sugar





1. Preheat oven to 350掳F.


2. Grease a 9 x 13 cake pan; set aside.


3. Place all ingredients except juice and icing sugar in a large bowl.


4. Beat thoroughly with an electric mixer at medium speed.


5. Pour into pan.


6. Bake 35- 45 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched in center.


7. Leave cake in pan and pierce entire surface with fork.


8. In a small bowl, blend juice and icing sugar thoroughly.

Orange Cake





INGREDIENTS


1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix


1 (3 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix


3/4 cup orange juice


1/2 cup vegetable oil


4 eggs


1 teaspoon lemon extract


1/3 cup orange juice


2/3 cup white sugar


1/4 cup butter





DIRECTIONS


Grease a 10 inch Bundt pan. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).


In a large bowl, stir together cake mix and pudding mix. Make a well in the center and pour in 3/4 cup orange juice, oil, eggs and lemon extract. Beat on low speed until blended. Scrape bowl, and beat 4 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into prepared pan.


Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.


In a saucepan over medium heat, cook 1/3 cup orange juice, sugar and butter for two minutes. Drizzle over cake.

Orange Glaze


1/4 cup fresh orange juice


1/4 cup granulated sugar





Preheat oven to 350*. Grease a 10-inch bundt pan. Cream the butter and gradually add the sugar, beating until light.


Beat in egg yolks, one at a time, and the orange zest.


Add dry ingredients alternately with the orange juice to the batter. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the batter. Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until sides of cake shrink away from edges of pan and a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, unmold onto a rack, and drizzle with Orange Glaze while warm. Cool before serving.


Orange Glaze: Combine orange juice and sugar in a small saucepan and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until a light syrup forms.
